Shirley was a neighborhood fixture when I lived in the Mission District in San Francisco years ago. While Shirley was not *everyone's* cup of tea, I loved Shirley's sense of humor and her spirit. We'd sit on the bench in front of Faye's while I waited for my laundry to get done and she'd tell me wild, funny, and sometimes sad stories about all different kinds of things, but the ones I liked the best were the stories she'd tell me of her youth. Shirley loved me, and I loved her, too.
Vintage watchface, a little bigger than a 50 cent piece, wrapped with recycled sterling silver wire and suspended from an 18"antiqued sterling silver chain.
