Aunt Jean is my closest relative. When I was a kid, I remember calling her, crying, because I felt so frustrated with life. She simply said, "Mutt (my nickname, long story), you'll go to college out of state. Just wait until you're 18, and you'll go to a college far away from here." Those words sustained me through my *turbulent* teen years, and I did go at my first opportunity - Simon's Rock, an early admissions college in Great Barrington, MA. It was awesome.
